Benefits that fit
the workforce you
actually have
Health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. Whether you're staffing twelve people or two hundred, we build the benefits program around your workforce, including seasonal employees, hourly workers, and the operational realities of your industry.
Get a QuoteBenefits should work
for the business, not
just the headline
Most small and mid-sized businesses end up with a benefits program designed for an average company that doesn’t exist. The plan looks reasonable on paper, but the cost structure doesn’t fit the workforce, the carriers don’t understand the industry, and the enrollment experience is harder than it needs to be.
We build benefits programs that match the workforce. That means understanding who’s on the payroll, who’s eligible, what they actually need, and what the business can sustain. The goal is a program that recruits and retains the people you want, at a cost structure that works year over year.
The lines we write under benefits
Group medical coverage for businesses of all sizes, including fully insured plans, level-funded plans, and self-funded structures for larger employers. We work with the carriers and plan types that fit your workforce and your budget.
Standalone dental and vision plans, or bundled with health coverage. Often the easiest part of the benefits package to add and the most appreciated by employees relative to cost.
Group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and the supplemental coverages that fill gaps in workers' compensation. Particularly important for businesses with workforces where injury or illness can take an employee out of work for an extended period.
401(k) plans, SIMPLE IRAs, SEP IRAs, and the retirement structures that fit different business sizes. We coordinate with third-party administrators and investment advisors where the structure requires it.
Voluntary benefits like accident insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and others that employees can purchase on top of the core program. Useful for rounding out a benefits package without adding to the employer's premium.
HOW WE APPROACH IT
Three things we do differently.
We size the program to the workforce
A 25-person business with a stable salaried workforce needs a different program than a 25-person business with seasonal hourly workers. We start with who's actually on the payroll, not the carrier's template employee.
We handle the implementation
Benefits programs fail at enrollment more often than at design. We coordinate the rollout, the employee communication, and the systems integration so the program actually gets used.
We review every year
Benefits markets shift annually, and a program that fit last year may not fit this year. We review the renewal, market the program when it makes sense, and recommend changes when the plan no longer serves the business.
Situations we handle often
-
A growing business hits 50 employees and faces ACA reporting requirements for the first time. We coordinate the carrier change, the compliance pieces, and the employee communication.
-
A business with a high-turnover workforce wants a benefits program that's competitive but doesn't create administrative overhead they can't sustain. We structure around the realities of the staffing model.
-
A multi-state operation needs benefits that work across state lines, including different supplemental requirements and different leave laws.
-
A business owner wants to add a retirement plan but isn't sure whether a 401(k), a SIMPLE IRA, or a SEP fits their structure. We walk through the differences and the implications for the business and the employees.
Common questions before you switch
Specific to Employee Benefits.
Currently, through a strategic partnership built for employer groups across industries, with plans to bring this capability fully in-house as CRS Group grows. The partnership gives us access to the carriers, the technology, and the enrollment support that benefits programs need.
Most carriers will quote groups starting at 2 employees, but the market opens up meaningfully at 10+ employees and changes again at 50+. We can work with businesses across that range and adjust the recommendation accordingly.
Yes, through the partnership. COBRA administration, ACA reporting (for employers above the relevant thresholds), and the routine compliance work that comes with running a group benefits program.
Yes. Benefits is its own service line; there's no requirement to have other coverage with us. That said, most of the value of working with one team comes from coordinating the full program over time.
